Scam Alert: We have recently learned of a scam involving residents receiving text messages from an entity claiming to be the City of Helena, stating that they have unpaid parking tickets and must pay immediately. The City is requesting sealed bids for the 2026 CHIP & SEAL PROJECT, Transportation Systems Project No. 26-18. To be considered for award, the bid must state the name and number of the project, be addressed to the Clerk of Commission, City of Helena, 316 North Park Avenue, Helena, Montana 59623 and be received by 3:00 P.M. local time on April 2, 2026, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled time of the public opening of bids. The opening and reading of the bids will occur in Room 326 of the City-County Building, 316 North Park Avenue, Helena, Montana. The proposed project consists of chip and seal of selected city streets designated by the City of Helena Streets Division for a total, up to 268,925 square yards Plans, specifications, and Instructions to Bidders are available at the Transportation Systems Department Office, located at 3001 E. Lyndale Avenue, Helena, Montana.
