If your name appears on the list, you have an active warrant in Helena Municipal Court. To clear the warrant you must contact Helena Municipal Court at (406) 447-8466, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m to make arrangements to appear in court to speak with the Judge. You can also send your questions to Helena Municipal Court via email:helenamunicipalcourt@helenamt.gov.
Helena Municipal Court Honorable Judge Peterson sees prisoners (defendants in custody) via closed circuit television at 8:00 a.m. Monday through Friday. If someone was arrested the night before and did not post bond and is in custody at the Lewis & Clark County Detention Center, that defendant will be seen in Helena Municipal Court the following morning.
