The City of Helena (City) is requesting proposals from firms capable of providing the necessary tree thinning, tree pruning, and hand piling personnel required to complete forest fuel reduction activities within four fuel mitigation treatment units collectively totaling approximately 260 acres. These efforts would be occurring within forested areas located within Mt Ascension Natural Park. Access to the property is gained by traveling south on North Montana Avenue to its intersection with Winnie Avenue (a point located approximately .25 miles south of the Montana State Capital Building), hence eastward on Winnie A venue for just under.27 miles to the South Sanders Street intersection, hence southward on South Sanders Street approximately .5 miles to Lime Kiln Road, onward .13 miles to the Lime Kiln Trailhead Parking Area.
