Scam Alert: We have recently learned of a scam involving residents receiving text messages from an entity claiming to be the City of Helena, stating that they have unpaid parking tickets and must pay immediately. The City of Helena is requesting proposals from firms capable of providing the necessary trail construction labor, supervision, and equipment for a bike trail construction project located within the Mt Ascension Natural Park portion of the City of Helena’s open space system. Proposals should be submitted no later than 5:00 PM, February 16, 2026, to Open Lands Manager, Parks Department, Open Lands Division, City of Helena, City-County Building, 316 North Park Avenue, Helena, MT 59623 or blangsather@helenamt.gov.
