Capital Transit is experiencing an outage affecting the SPARE ride-scheduling app. The transit team is unable to access pickup location information for rides scheduled through the app and therefore cannot provide service for those rides at this time. Patrons may still schedule rides by calling the dispatch office at 406-447-8080. Technicians are working to restore service as soon as possible.
The Helena Public Art Committee (HPAC), on behalf of the City of Helena, seeks applications for the Helena Public Art Community Collaboration Grant.
In recent years, HPAC has been able to further its mission by providing funding to public art projects developed and administered by external stakeholders. HPAC supports this successful model that encourages the creation of public art, and the recognition of its importance to our community, while minimizing the administrative workload on the City of Helena.
The Helena Public Art Committee is currently considering projects for distribution of matching funds of up to $5,000. Applications must be received no later than April 13, 2026. If there is not a successful applicant, the application period may be extended.
