HELENA, Mont. – The City of Helena will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 24, at Bill Roberts Golf Course to mark the addition of the City’s first all-electric vehicle to its passenger fleet.

The vehicle, designated Unit 100, will serve as part of a two-year pilot program to evaluate the performance, durability, charging infrastructure compatibility, and operational efficiency of electric vehicles in municipal use. The truck will be available for multi-departmental use, with staff collecting data to assess its suitability for long-term fleet integration.

Members of the public and media are invited to attend.
