Scam Alert: We have recently learned of a scam involving residents receiving text messages from an entity claiming to be the City of Helena, stating that they have unpaid parking tickets and must pay immediately. HELENA, Mont. — The City of Helena will host a listening session at 5:30 p.m. on December 18 at the City-County Building, RM 426 and via Zoom (https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89888636060) to discuss recommended Open Lands major projects for 2026. City staff will present recommended open lands major projects, with project and environmental analysis, and accept public comment on those proposed projects.
Interested parties may also review the projects and analysis at https://beheardhelena.com/. Public comment can also be submitted on the Be Heard Helena project page, or by emailing parksandrec@helenamt.gov. Feedback collected between now and January 2, 2026, will be incorporated into the plan and presented at an Open House scheduled for Thursday, January 15.
