Scam Alert: We have recently learned of a scam involving residents receiving text messages from an entity claiming to be the City of Helena, stating that they have unpaid parking tickets and must pay immediately. Mount Ascension has several trail access points, one of which is the Old Shooting Range trailhead. It is located at 1782 Davis Gulch Road. This Trailhead accesses the Rodney Ridge area to its west and the Mount Ascension Trail System to the east via the Entertainment trail. This trailhead is a popular destination for running, hiking and mountain biking. Amenities at the trailhead are pet waste bags, trash receptacles, and vault latrines.
