The City is proposing to replace the the existing 6-inch water main in Walnut Street (from Interstate 15 to Airport Road) with an 8-inch PVC water main. This project includes installing 1,329 feet of 8-inch diameter PVC water main, 69 feet of 6-inch diameter PVC pipe, 8 gate valves, 8 water mains connections, and 2 service connections. Construction is expected to last from approximately October to December 2026. The contractor for this project is Montana Materials and Construction.
