The City is proposing to replace the existing 4-inch water main in Butte Avenue (from Hoback to Montana) with an 8-inch PVC water main. This project includes installing 1,320 lineal feet of 8-inch PVC water main, 39 water services, seven gate valves, and one fire hydrant assembly. The City is also proposing to replace the existing 6-inch water main in Missoula Avenue (from North Dakota to Montana) with an 8-inch PVC water main. This project will include installing 450 lineal feet of 8-inch PVC water main, four water services, two gate valves, and one fire hydrant. Temporary water is planned for this project. Construction is expected to last from approximately August – December 2026. The contractor for this project is Montana Materials and Construction. A project location map is attached.
