City Seeks Artwork Submissions for Specialty License Plate

The City of Helena is inviting artists to submit artwork for a proposed specialty license plate that would help support affordable housing in the community. The proposed plate, “Guardian of the Gulch,” would generate sponsor donation proceeds dedicated to the City’s Affordable Housing Trust Fund. Applications will be accepted through December 14, 2026.

Municipal Court Schedule Change

Starting Tuesday, Sept. 1, the City of Helena’s Municipal Court Open Court will be held Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Check-in is at 9:15 a.m. with appearances before the Judge starting at 9:30 a.m. An additional Monday afternoon open court session may be scheduled at 3 p.m. with a 2:45 p.m. check-in.
