New Pay-to-Park Kiosk Rates Take Effect Today

HELENA, Mont. — City of Helena Parking Division reminds residents and visitors that the new Pay-to-Park kiosk rates are effective today, Wednesday, July 1, 2026.

The updated parking rates are as follows:

  • $1.50 per hour with the first 20 minutes of the initial parking session free once per day, per license plate.
  • After the complimentary 20 minutes, parking is charged in 20-minute increments of $0.50.
  • Each additional hour after the first is charged at the full rate of $1.50 per hour.
  • The maximum daily parking fee is $13.00 at all Pay-to-Park kiosk locations.

The City encourages motorists to familiarize themselves with the updated rates before parking to help ensure a smooth parking experience.
