HELENA, Mont. – October 6-12 is National Fire Prevention Week. This year’s event, which is sponsored by the National Fire Protection Association, will focus on smoke alarms and the importance of having working smoke alarms in homes.
Over the course of the week, the Helena Fire Department will host more than 400 elementary students from the Helena School District for a tour and education session at Station #1. The City will also be promoting fire safety and prevention throughout the week on its website and social media channels. More information will be available at www.helenamt.gov.
