HELENA, Mont. – Starting Friday (April 11), the City of Helena’s Downtown smart parking meters will no longer accept credit card payments. The change will only impact the traditional on-street smart meters. Credit cards can still be used for lots and on-street spaces managed by the Passport Parking App and kiosks.

The smart parking meters will be removed entirely in the coming weeks and those spaces will be managed by the Passport Parking system moving forward. During the transition, parking meters can still be used with coins.

The Parking Office can be reached at 406-447-8368 with questions.
