HELENA, Mont. – The Helena/Lewis and Clark County Heritage Tourism Council (HTC) is seeking nominations for the 2026 annual Historic Preservation awards. This year’s awards will be presented in May 2026 as part of National Historic Preservation Month activities. Nomination forms may found at https://www.lccountymt.gov/files/assets/county/historic-preservation-commission/documents/preservation_awards_nomination_form.pdf.
Nominations must state why this person/building should receive a historic preservation award. Pictures are requested and additional materials may be submitted. The deadline to submit nominations is 5:00 PM, April 10, 2026.
The HTC is a volunteer advisory board to the Helena City Commission and the Lewis and Clark Board of County Commissioners. They typically meet the third Tuesday of the month in the City-County Building, 316 N. Park Ave., Helena and on Zoom.
