Downtown ADA Ramp Replacement
This project will install or upgrade the ADA ramps in Helena’s Business District and along Helena Avenue to bring as many ramps as possible into ADA compliance. Helena’s ADA Committee first identified these projects as a priority in 2011. Some of the existing curb ramps are not ADA-accessible, which causes safety and mobility issues throughout the area for all users.
Estimated Cost: $587,384.00
Status as of September 2017: Project is complete.
Update: Twelve ramps along Last Chance Gulch were constructed in fall 2015. The remaining ramps proposed in the project will be constructed in spring, 2016.
