Face coverings should be worn in common areas and in all circumstances where social distancing cannot be achieved.

Starting Monday, June 8 the City of Helena and Lewis & Clark County request staff and visitors to the City-County Building, 316 N. Park Ave., to wear face coverings in all common areas and in all circumstances where social distancing cannot be achieved.

In addition to the mask request, the Motor Vehicle Department will have clearly marked six foot spacing in the City-County Building lobby to which people are asked to adhere.

The wearing of masks, practicing of social distancing, increased sanitation practices and frequent hand washing are recommended by Lewis & Clark Public Health as positive strategies to curb the spread of the virus. City of Helena and Lewis and Clark County public officials encourage everyone to follow these guidelines and do their part to mitigate the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
