Helena Housing Authority
This non-profit organization, established in 1938, manages and sets policy for all public housing in Helena.
The Housing Authority Board consists of 5 housing commissioners appointed by the Mayor, with Commission approval. (Commission action August 1938). The board shall include 2 designated tenant seats and no member shall be a City official. (Commission action, September 17, 1987, Resolution No. 9990) Members’ terms shall be five years. Resident terms shall be two-years.
